History

rbe_edited.png

ASME at ASU started in 2019 as a student chapter of the national American Society of Mechanical Engineers. It evolved into one of the most significant academic organizations on campus. Unfortunately, the onset of COVID-19 made it difficult for the chapter to continue operating, and the chapter dissolved.

In Fall 2022, the chapter was reestablished, and since then, we’ve been steadily growing each semester. Now, heading into Fall 2025, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers at Arizona State University is stronger than ever. Our club prides itself on hosting guest speakers who share industry insight, offering technical workshops that build valuable skills, organizing social events, and participating in fun and exciting competitions. We’re proud to be a hub for students to connect, learn, and create together.

The future of this chapter is written by its members, and we hope

you'll be one of them.
