ASME @ ASU - History

rbe_edited_edited.png

ASME at ASU was founded in 2019 as a student chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. The organization quickly became an active academic community for mechanical engineering students on campus.

Like many organizations, the chapter paused during the COVID-19 pandemic. In Fall 2022, it was reestablished and has been growing steadily each semester since.

Today, ASME at Arizona State University hosts industry speakers, technical workshops, social events, and engineering competitions that help students develop professionally while building a strong community.

Our goal is simple: create a place where engineering students can learn, connect, and grow together.

The future of this chapter is written by its members, and we hope you'll be one of them.
